Maria Giulia Minasi obtained her Biological degree in 1993 at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” and her Master in Reproductive Medicine in 2011 at the University of Padova, Italy. From 1994 to 1997 she worked as an embryologist in different PMA laboratories in Rome, Italy. From 1998 to 2000 she was employed as researcher at the Department of Histology and Embriology, University of Rome “La Sapienza”, working on stem cells project. From 2001 she worked at the Centre for Reproductive Medicine of European Hospital in Rome, where from 2009 became laboratory director. She was involved in the upgrade of the laboratory to the current law and is also directly involved in preparing and checking all the laboratory documents related to Quality Control and Quality Assurance.  She is particularly interested in embryology, in preimplantation genetic diagnosis techniques and in cryopreservation of embryos and oocytes. From 2013 she has a free-lance collaboration as “Sector Specialist” with an Italian company employed in Management Systems Certification area for different Italian ART centers. From 2016 member of Executive Committee of SIERR  (Italian Society of Embriology, Reproduction and Research). In 2017 has been recognized as top reviewer for Human Reproduction Journal. She is author or coauthor of more than 60 studies published on national and international journals.
